Entrepreneurial spirit driving results

Immediately following his time at Berry College in Rome, GA, Andrew launched his second company Creative Woodcraft. This company focused on trim and millworks for several of Atlanta’s premier custom builders as well as complete custom pieces of furniture for private clients. Andrew says the most satisfying parts of this particular business venture was both the ability to work alongside his father and watch his 2D renderings come to life as a focal point in someone’s home. As the business developed, Andrew followed market direction and expanded services to include full residential remodeling.

In 2008 an opportunity to move into the commercial sector presented itself and Andrew accepted a position as a Superintendent for R&T General Construction, LLC. In response, he handed off the new construction facet of Creative Woodcraft to a long-time business partner and continued to develop the custom furniture piece of the business alongside his career in commercial construction. Construction management proved to be a good fit and Andrew was promoted to Project Manager and then Estimator. This ascension offered a comprehensive perspective of the construction business from blueprints to finished product and afforded Andrew the opportunity to put his mark on everything from hotels to high-rises, civic centers, schools, medical facilities, retail spaces, libraries and more…

In 2013 Andrew along with his wife Stacie and two young sons moved from Atlanta to Austin TX to begin a new and exciting chapter in their lives together. In Austin, Andrew synced up with the Karis Group and accepted a position as Head of Business Development. His primary focus while with the Karis Group was to help bring 2 startup companies to market in the Healthcare arena, The Health Co-Op and Sedera Health. Both new companies were established to help individuals and businesses navigate the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and Andrew gained exposure as a keynote speaker and sales leader.

Andrew and Stacie welcomed their third child, a daughter, into the world in June of 2015.

In November 2015 Andrew was presented with a window of opportunity (pun intended) to get back to the remodeling industry as a Project Consultant for Renewal by Andersen of Austin. “With a product mix widely regarded as the ‘Gold Standard’ of windows and doors, my job was easy. All I had to do was introduce the product to the customer, custom tailor a solution to the problems they were experiencing with their current windows or doors, and earn the right to ask for their business,” said Andrew. He sold $2.2M in his first year as a Project Consultant, and continued to serve the Austin and then San Antonio markets in this capacity until 2018 when he was accepted a position in sales management.

From 2019 to present day, Andrew serves the Esler Company as General Manager of Renewal by Andersen of Central Texas. He says he is “overwhelmed with gratitude each morning as I drive into the office. My entrepreneurial spirit is fulfilled, as I have been given a great business to run within the best Renewal by Andersen ownership group in the country.”
