Worcester, MA, June 2024 — On June 26, 2024, teammates at Telefluent Communications Center, Esler Companies’ sales and marketing hub, hosted a special cookout and ice cream social for the ‘Why Me & Sherry’s House’ monthly support group. Telefluent is Esler Cos has a long-standing relationship with this organization and teammates provided a much-needed break for families navigating the challenges of childhood cancer.
Why Me & Sherry’s House is a Worcester-based non-profit dedicated to supporting Central New England families coping with pediatric cancer. The organization provides free support services, including family events, support groups, and financial aid, to help families manage the emotional and financial challenges of cancer.
Sixteen dedicated Telefluent teammates arrived early to handle all aspects of the event. They purchased supplies, set up craft stations, arranged tables with cookout fare and ice cream, and served as food runners.
“I am incredibly proud of our team,” said Mel Gunderman, Administrative Manager. “Their commitment and the positive feedback they shared highlight the true impact of community support. It was a meaningful experience for everyone involved.”
