This commitment was on full display when teammates in Nevada participated in Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade, volunteering to pack backpacks with essential school supplies that were donated to military children.
For families who frequently move due to military obligations, the added cost of purchasing school supplies can be overwhelming. The Back-to-School Brigade® is a nationwide campaign that has provided over 550,000 backpacks to military children, ensuring they have the tools they need for a successful school year. These backpacks, filled with high-quality supplies, offer crucial support to families facing financial hardships during the back-to-school season.
“It was an amazing feeling knowing we are giving back and helping children be successful in school,” said Holley Frank, Service Coordinator at Esler Companies. “I feel blessed to work for a company that is always giving back.”
Louvina Salazar, Warehouse Manager, added, “Seeing teammates focused on a common goal felt great. Knowing we would make some kids smile felt so good.”
