December 2024 – The holiday season is a time for generosity, and at Esler Companies, giving back is a tradition. Through the annual YouGive Raffle, teammates had the chance to direct $55,000 in donations to the causes closest to their hearts, making a meaningful impact in communities across the country.
Each year, the YouGive Raffle invites teammates to nominate non-profit organizations they are passionate about for a chance to receive a company-sponsored donation. With 11 Esler locations participating, each market randomly selected four winners, who received donations ranked at the Grand Prize, 1st Place, 2nd Place, and 3rd Place levels. The winners were revealed during Esler’s festive holiday celebrations, turning moments of generosity into shared joy.
The 2024 YouGive Raffle supported a diverse range of non-profits, reflecting the causes closest to teammates’ hearts. Some of the organizations receiving donations this year included:
- Arizona – St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – advancing treatments and cures for pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
- Central Texas – Out Youth Austin – providing a safe space and resources for LGBTQ+ youth.
- Colorado – Brave Young Hearts – offering joy and support to children battling critical illnesses.
- Greater Nevada (Reno) –My Hometown Heroes – a national scholarship fund supporting college-bound cancer survivors.
- Greater Nevada (Las Vegas) – Road Dogs & Rescue – rescuing and rehabilitating at-risk bulldogs and special-needs dogs.
- Greater Philadelphia – The Alexis Joy Foundation – raising awareness and providing support for women experiencing postpartum depression.
- North Texas – Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support – offering safety, shelter, and support to survivors of domestic violence.
- Oklahoma – Comeback Kid Society – supporting at-risk youth in their journey to self-sufficiency.
- Southern Maine & New Hampshire – Grahamtastic Connection – providing free technology to children with cancer and other serious illnesses.
- Southern New England – National Center for Missing & Exploited Children – working to protect children and assist in recovery efforts.
- Telefluent MA – Sharing is Caring Inc. – providing food and essential resources to families in need.
- Texafluent TX – Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders USA) – delivering emergency medical care to communities in crisis worldwide.
Each winning teammate had the opportunity to personally present a donation check to their chosen organization, turning generosity into a deeply personal experience. Seeing the direct impact of their contributions and the heartfelt gratitude from the non-profits made the moment even more meaningful, reinforcing the true spirit of giving during the holiday season.
