Wednesday, April 2, 2025 – Esler Companies launched the highly anticipated Women of Esler: Accelerate Speaker Series on Tuesday, marking the beginning of a transformative series aimed at emphasizing women’s voices, experiences, and resilience throughout the company.

The inaugural session, Women of Esler: Inspirational Stories, was a heartfelt and empowering conversation that drew an impressive turn out of over 200 attendees. Moderated by Katie Kleyla, Director of Teammate Experience, the 30-minute virtual event featured four remarkable women from across the Esler network who shared the triumphs and struggles they faced along their personal and professional journeys toward leadership.

Women of Esler: Inspirational Stories Panelists:

  • Felicia Chiverton-Wren – Director of Service, Arizona
  • Jonna BensonProject Consultant, Central Texas
  • Rose MartinezDirector of Service, Colorado
  • Sarah HoardSales Manager, Colorado

As the panelists spoke candidly about the duality of womanhood in the workplace, it was clear that strength, determination, and courage are the backbone of their success in and out of the office. Their stories reinforced the importance of challenging norms, demanding equality, and lifting each other up in every step of the journey.

Key Takeaways:

  • Claim Your Space – Jonna Benson, a female project consultant in a male dominated field, urged all women to own their space and trust their abilities. “You deserve to be in this role,” she reminded the audience, “Women belong in every room.”
  • Redefine Leadership – Felicia Chiverton-Wren spoke powerfully about the pressure women often face to be strong in leadership roles. She emphasized that “True leadership isn’t about unrealistic expectations. Leadership is about vulnerability, trust, and collaboration.”
  • Set Boundaries – Rose Martinez shared the importance of setting boundaries in and outside the workplace. Her message emphasized the importance of “Being present where your feet are” to prioritize multiple aspects of life and avoid burnout.
  • Ask for HelpSarah Hoard reminded everyone that leadership is not about doing everything alone. She urged women to seek feedback and be open to growth, even when it’s hard to hear. “No one will remember what you do, but they’ll always remember how you make them feel,” she said. Approach all conversations with honesty and empathy because genuine leadership requires emotional intelligence and self-awareness.

The Women of Esler: Accelerate Speaker Series is more than conversations, it’s a call to action to embrace the voices of women in leadership, challenge the systems that marginalize them, and fight for an equal future.
