Smithfield, Rhode Island, June 13, 2026 – On a rainy spring day in June, teammates from Renewal by Andersen of Southern New England spent time at the Hotel for Homeless Dogs, giving local shelter dogs a little extra love while they wait for their forever homes.
The Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland, Rhode Island provides a safe, caring place for dogs as they wait to be adopted. With support from staff and volunteers, the organization gives each dog daily care, walks, socialization, and the attention they need while helping them find loving families in the community.
Even with the rain coming down, Renewal Cares teammate volunteers made sure the pups had a chance to stretch their legs and get some fresh air.
“When I take a dog from the Hotel for Homeless Dogs for a walk, I can’t help but be as excited as they are,” said Danielle Erickson, Sales Admin at Renewal by Andersen of Southern New England. “I am grateful for the opportunity to show them love and companionship while they wait for their forever home.”
