November 11, 2024 — At Esler Companies, supporting Veterans isn’t just a gesture—it’s a commitment we make to honor those who have served and sacrificed for our country. Through our Renewal Cares Window of Giving program, teammates Esler-wide have come together to give back, volunteering their time, raising funds, and partnering with organizations dedicated to Veterans’ well-being. Here’s a look at how each of our territories stepped up this year to support local Veterans and their families.
NORTH TEXAS
In August, our North Texas team supported the Greater Dallas Veterans Foundation with a $3,000 donation. This contribution directly supports the Foundation’s impactful work, including events like the Mental Health Symposium, Student Art Contest, and the annual Veterans Day Ceremony and Parade. Stephanie Moelter, whose husband is a Veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom, reflected on what this day means to her: “Veterans Day holds a special meaning for me, as my husband made significant sacrifices to protect our country. It’s a time to honor the bravery and sacrifices of our military members.”
TELEFLUENT / TEXAFLUENT
In August and September, teammates from our Massachusetts and Texas offices filled 350 cinch sacks with essentials for Veterans Inc., a national leader in ending homelessness among veterans. They spent breaks and lunches packing toiletries, socks, blankets, and playing cards to offer local Veterans a little extra comfort and care. A huge thank you to Jenn Bruneault, CiCi Perez, and Viviana Ortiz for leading this initiative!
OKLAHOMA & ARKANSAS
This fall, our Oklahoma/Arkansas teammates supported several organizations making a difference for Veterans. They contributed $1,000 each to Soldier’s Wish and Sheep Dog Impact Assistance of Arkansas and donated a stackable washer and dryer to HUB107, a local organization helping Veterans in need. Oklahoma is proud to announce that their relationship with HUB107 will continue, as they become our newest community partner for 2025!
COLORADO
On September 11th, our Colorado teammates came together to host a golf tournament in support of Houses for Warriors, an organization dedicated to providing veterans with the support, resources and housing they need to successfully transition to civilian life. From gathering donations for raffle prizes to assisting on tournament day, the team raised enough funds to cover Houses for Warriors’ expenses for a full quarter. “This was an amazing event, and it’s always great to see the impact we can make when we come together,” shared Rose Martinez. “Hearing Andrew from Houses for Warriors speak about his mission made the day extra special.”
ARIZONA, NEVADA, PHILLY, & SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND
This year, our Arizona, Nevada, and Southern New England teams joined forces with Operation Homefront’s Back-to-School Brigade®, packing backpacks filled with school supplies for children in military families. In May, Arizona teammates gathered for a heartfelt team-building event, filling 50 backpacks to bring smiles to kids as they returned to school. Nevada teammates volunteered next, embracing the opportunity to support military children. “It was an amazing feeling knowing we’re helping kids succeed in school,” shared Holley Frank, Service Coordinator, while Louvina Salazar, Warehouse Manager, reflected, “Seeing teammates focused on a common goal felt great, knowing we would make some kids smile.” Philadelphia also partnered with Operation Homefront, with a high turnout of teammates packing and donating 50 backpacks to help military families. Southern New England wrapped up their season in July, packing an additional 50 backpacks for kids of deployed service members. Dennis Edgeworth, Senior Production Manager, shared, “Giving back to families who have given so much is humbling. I’m proud to be part of an event that eases a bit of stress for these families.”
